“We started using Ameridose as an outsourcing service in August of 2008. We started with a few controlled substances and quickly expanded the number of items Ameridose repackaged. The items can be used for our cart fill process or in automated dispensing units. All items have a bar code which is used by the nursing staff during bedside charting in the automated dispensing units. Currently, we use over 20 controlled substances (intravenous and oral), 25 oral legend products, OR unit dose syringes and several sterile intravenous admixture products. Children’s has frequently used Ameridose products to solve medication delivery issues.
Ameridose has a wide range of products and is willing to add a new product to suit your requirements and distribution model. We have several items with automated weekly orders. The on-line ordering only shows the products that you have selected from Ameridose’s inventory list. This makes it very easy to order a single item or multiple products quickly. The turnaround time is very good. Most of our items are received 48 hours after the order is placed. The pricing is very competitive and has allowed us to reassign duties of our pharmacy staff. Ameridose has been very flexible in helping Children’s meet our needs.”
