
Ameridose Named Supplier of Choice for Texas Purchasing Coalition
Ameridose, LLC, nationwide provider of sterile admixing services to hospital pharmacies, has been selected as supplier of choice for Texas Purchasing Coalition (TPC) hospitals. The TPC Group currently includes 10 integrated delivery network healthcare systems with 27 facilities, together generating over $750 million in supply chain spend. While Ameridose has been working with several TPC hospitals, this March 1, 2011 agreement extends Ameridose sterile admixing services to all 27 TPC facilities.

Ameridose recycled over 1.5 million lbs. in 2010 as part of its extensive corporate sustainability program. Agreement with Novation
Ameridose is delighted to announce the signing of an agreement with Novation, LLC, effective January 1, 2011, which confers approved supplier status to Ameridose on behalf of Novation member facilities. Novation is the industry's leading health care contracting services company, providing supply contracting services to nearly 25,000 VHA and UHC member organizations and to 5,500 Provista members.

Ameridose Opens New State-of-the-Art Sterile Admixing Facility:Westborough, MA (January 2011) - Ameridose, LLC, nationwide provider of sterile admixing services to hospital pharmacies, is pleased to announce the opening of its third and newest manufacturing facility. Located in Westborough, MA, the new 70,000 sq. ft. facility has been constructed using the finest building materials and contains state-of-the-art clean room equipment. Ameridose management states that the facility is designed to be fully redundant with other Ameridose facilities in order to ensure the outstanding reliability that customers expect from Ameridose. The facility's operations also support Ameridose's aggressive sustainability goals by incorporating the latest in environmentally friendly features.
Clean room highlights in the new Westborough facility include an HVAC system with energy efficient condensing boilers and ultrasonic humidification as well as over 400 fan-powered HEPA filter units rated at 99.9% efficiency. The energy-efficient, natural gas-fired, infrared radiant heaters installed in the shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas feature motion sensor controls for even greater efficiency. The facility construction plan incorporated a recycling program which resulted in the recycling of over 90% of all construction-related waste. Now operational, the facility complies with Ameridose's corporate sustainability policy which requires the recycling of all paper, glass, metal, plastic, corrugated cardboard, wood, and computer/electronic waste.
"This is the largest, state-of-the-art sterile admixing and repackaging facility in the nation. The new facility expands our capacity to accommodate new business and to offer current customers the security of another redundant facility. Agreement with Phoenix Health Care Management Services for VHA Georgia
Ameridose is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with Phoenix Health Care Management Services for VHA Georgia members effective August 1, 2010. Ameridose has enjoyed long-term relationships with a number of VHA Georgia member hospitals, and, through this letter of commitment, the benefits of outsourcing with Ameridose will now be available to all VHA Georgia members. VHA Georgia represents a third of not-for-profit hospitals and health care systems in Georgia, with its membership accounting for over 50 percent of Georgia's hospital admissions.

South Atlantic and East, West, and North Florida divisions designated Ameridose as sole source provider effective January 1, 2010. HCA is the nation’s leading provider of healthcare services with 163 locally managed facilities and 105 freestanding surgery centers in 20 states and England.
FirstChoice Cooperative awarded a bid to Ameridose as a dual source provider.
